The Bright Light Foundation Family
We invite you to join the Bright Light Foundation team of volunteers. Volunteerism is a
vital component and is essential for the Bright Light Foundation’s success.
We rely heavily on the Oil and Gas community and individuals to accomplish our
mission. Many individuals donate their time and talents to assist the numerous events
the Bright Light Foundation sponsors and participate in.
The following outlines a few volunteer opportunities:
Recipients Committee
· Vetting Process - participate in vetting applications and interviewing potential BLF recipients throughout the region we support.
· Medical Guidance- Provide medical insight to the applications we receive for potential recipients
· Assist with various administration tasks
· Collect bio and photo of recipient
· Attend check presentation dinner and distribute checks
Golf Tournament
· Registration- Help us register our attendees for this event
· Team Organization –Organize teams and associated changes.
· Event Coordination- Help solicit door prizes, coordinate cook teams and sponsorships, coordinate trophies and sponsor signs
· Various tasks associated with the event
Gala
· Assist with various functions of the Gala- Live auctions, silent auctions, big board, dinner table seating assignments, registration and ball room preparation (i.e.
table decorations and table sponsor signs with company logo printed on sign) to mention a few.
